TabPref lets hospitality professionals control exactly who sees their work schedule through three visibility levels: private (only you), connections (approved contacts), or network (all followers). Your personal account and schedule are always yours to control — no employer or establishment can access your personal profile or schedule without your explicit approval. Operating-hours clipping hides shifts outside an establishment’s declared public hours, and a per-connection eye toggle lets you hide your schedule from a specific person without removing the connection. These controls protect 15.6 million U.S. hospitality workers who often hold multiple jobs.

“A bartender working three jobs cannot share a single calendar with all three employers. The privacy model has to assume that the worker is the principal, not the employer, and TabPref is the first hospitality platform to do that by default.”

No. Your personal schedule is private by default. An employer only sees the shifts you are scheduled for at that specific employer, never your shifts at other employers or your private commitments.
Yes. Add the person as a connection, set your schedule visibility to Connections, and your shifts (per your operating-hours rules) will appear on their connected calendar view.
Operating-hours clipping is an automatic privacy feature that hides any shift you work outside the declared public operating hours of the establishment. This prevents accidental exposure of after-hours private events, inventory work, or deep cleans.
On that person’s profile, tap the eye icon. Your schedule is now hidden from them while the connection remains active. You can reverse this at any time.
No. TabPref does not sell, share, or license your personal schedule data with third parties. Schedule data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
Yes. You can request full deletion of your historical schedule data from the privacy settings, subject to a 30-day cool-down for fraud prevention.
